Electronic waste is the fastest growing waste stream in the world, and one of the most valuable. A tonne of circuit boards holds more gold than a tonne of gold ore. Yet most dead electronics sit in drawers and lofts because nobody is sure where they are allowed to go.

Everything electrical we collect goes to licensed WEEE facilities where it is depolluted and separated. Screens have their hazardous elements removed safely, boards go for precious metal recovery, cables are granulated for copper. Nothing electrical we carry ends up in landfill, that is the law and also the point.

Loose lithium batteries in quantity, tape terminals and tell us so we can carry them safely
Stairs without a lift are £20 per flight, everything else is included

Electronics and e-waste recycling questions

Can old TVs go in the bin?

No. TVs and monitors are WEEE and councils will not accept them in general waste. They contain materials that must be removed at a licensed facility, which is where every screen we collect goes.

What about the data on old computers?

For household machines we recommend removing or wiping drives yourself first. For business collections we can arrange certified data destruction, ask when booking.

Is a box of mixed electricals one item?

Yes, a manageable box or crate of small electricals counts as one item at £59, and extra boxes are £20 each as extra items.
